Unfortunately, it’s difficult if not impossible to find a web page on novascotia.ca (the NS Government website) which lists departmental staff including the positions, the names of persons currently filling those positions, and some contact info. The Contact Us page for DNR/Forestry (https://novascotia.ca/natr/forestry/contact.asp) provides only a single contact for the Forestry Division.
A “Forestry Staff Directory” was available at the same web address up until June 2025*; by mid-August 2025* the info had switched to that shown currently (see image at right).

Presumably the sharp reduction in info about “Who Does What” at NSDNR in 2025 reflected ongoing and anticipated structural and staff changes in the Dept. first revealed in February of 2026:

Previous NS Governments, while providing much more transparency in regard to activities and personnel in the Department of Natural Resources (or in renamed DNR departments that included Forestry & Forest- related staff), still left much to be desired.
